On the way there

London Was amazing, in on Monday morning and out again on Sunday morning. It felt like we saw twice as much as time we thought we would.

Monday

Arrive in to Heithrow from Doha 9am, get on the Piccadili line to Green something, get off, change to the Grey Line to London Bridge, get out of the underground, back up into the London Bridge Station, catch the train to Lewisham.  All after travelling for 36 hrs straight. 1.5 hrs on the tube and train from the airport.

However, the traffic is so bad without parking that it apparently would have taken 2 hours easily if Robbie came and picked us up :{

Went for a walk around Greenwich with Robbie to ward off jetlag.  Saw the Greenwich meridian and standard measures, great view of the city over the naval hospital and college.

Wandered around the market, had lunch there, great food. Then saw the Cutty Sark boat, wandered down the Theams to the Cutty Sark pub, had a pint and caught the tube back to Robbies
